The ISFNR General Assembly consists of at least 10 % of the active or honorary members of the Society, each member having one vote. As a rule the General Assembly meets every four years on the occasion of a Congress. The duties of the General Assembly include electing the members of the Executive Committee, electing honorary members, and determining the time and place of the next Congress.
