Narrative Culture: Third issue

Recently the third issue of "Narrative Culture", the new journal affiliated with the ISFNR, edited by Ulrich Marzolph together with Regina Bendix was published. The current issue contains a total of six essays: Dorothy Noyes, Fairy-Tale Economics: Scarcity, Risk, Choice Cristina Bacchilega, Narrative Culture, Situated Story Webs, and the Politics of Relation David Cosper, Disruptive Voices: The Minor Characters of Musical Narrative JoAnn Conrad, Consuming Subjects: Making Sense of Post/World War II Westerns Laura Stark, Voicelessness and the Limits of Agency in Early Modern Finnish Narratives on Magic and the Supernatural Ülo Valk, Discursive Shifts in Legends from Demonization to Fictionalization All contributions in the journal can be downloaded from the digitalcommons platform of Wayne State University Press at http://digitalcommons.wayne.edu/narrative/. As before, we would appreciate if ISFNR members encourage their university libraries to subscribe to "Narrative Culture", whether in the print or digital versions. And, as always, we look forward to receiving new contributions from ISFNR members that we can consider for the journal's future issues.
